The Long View provides the same information as the Brief View as well as additional descriptive information, such as notes, subject headings, lists of other authors of and contributors to the work, etc.
If there
is more than one record associated with the title you selected, you can
view the remaining records by clicking the
or
icons.
For Keyword searches, the search terms you typed display in italic text.
You can save information about the record you are currently displaying in several ways as shown in the Print, Save & Email Options section at the bottom of the page.

To Print or Save a record:
- From the Select Format: pull-down menu, choose Long View, Brief View or Technical View.
- Click the Format to Print or Save button. The records will be displayed in plain text on a new page.
- To Print the records, use the Print feature of your web browser.
- To Save the records to a text file, select Save As... from your web browser's File menu. Name the file and add the file extension ".txt". Click the Save button.
- Use your web browser's Back button to return to the Brief View display.
To Email a record:
- Enter a full email address in the box marked Enter your email address:.
- Click the Send email button. You will see a new page confirming that your email was sent. Note: Pressing the Enter key on your keyboard will not activate the Send email button. You must click the Send email button with your mouse.
- NUcat records sent by email are only available in the Long View format. There is no need to select a format from the pull-down menu.
- Use your web browser's Back button to return to the Brief View display.
To begin a new
search, click the
icon at the top of the screen.
