Using Your Bookbag
MyNUcat's Bookbag feature allows you to save records from various search results for later viewing, editing and printing in different formats. You must login to NUcat to access your bookbag.
To save records to your bookbag from the Titles List:
- Select the checkboxes next to all the records you want to save to your bookbag.
- Click the Save To Bookbag button in the Print, Save & Email Options box at the bottom of the page before moving on to subsequent pages in your Titles List.
- You will receive a message # record(s) have been added to your bookbag. Click "Okay" to return to the current page in the Titles List.
- Repeat this process on each page containing records you wish to save to your bookbag.
- When finished, you can view your bookbag by clicking the Bookbag button on the My Account page.
You may also save individual records to your bookbag from the Print, Save & Email Options box at the bottom of the Brief View and Long View pages.
To delete a record from your Bookbag:
- Select the check box in the Delete? column next to the record you wish to delete.
- Click the Delete Selected Titles button.
- Click the Clear Bookbag button. This deletes all records from your Bookbag and brings up a screen indicating that your Bookbag is empty.
- From the Bookbag screen, enter your email address into the Print, Save & Email Options box and click the Send Email button.
- Select the desired format from the Select Format drop-down box.
- Click the Format to Print or Save button. Your Bookbag records will be diplayed in a plain text format on a new page.
- To Print the records, use the Print feature of your web browser.
- To Save the records to a text file, select Save As... from your web browser's File menu. Name the file and add the file extension ".txt". Click the Save button.
- Use your web browser's Back button to return to the Bookbag page.
